Dhirubhai Ambani

Small is not a word the Ambanis know, is it ? Just take a look at their Infocomm launch. When others think of rolling out services in one metro or at the most a state, this company thinks of rolling out the service for the entire country right down to 6,40,000 villages. Amazing.

I have always been a big fan of Dhirubhai Ambani. The classic rags to riches story. A man out of nowhere with just a few dreams in his head goes on to head the biggest company from India. It beats the wildest of stories imagined by our bollywood directors. And his sons seem intent on carrying on from where he left. Just amazing.

I own a few shares of Reliance just for the heck of it. Just wanted to be a small part of this extraordinary company ;-)

Here is wishing them all the best of luck in the coming year. I will be taking their service in Bangalore as and when it becomes available. What about you ?
